Sheet Metal Components Capabilities

Sheet Metal Components Process Overview

Sheet metal manufacturing is a forming process in which flat metal sheets are converted into finished components using operations such as cutting, bending, punching, stamping, and laser or plasma cutting.

The process begins with selection of sheet material in required thickness and grade, followed by nesting and cutting as per design using CNC laser, turret punching, or shearing machines. The cut blanks are then prepared for forming operations based on drawing requirements.

After cutting, sheet metal is formed using press brake bending, deep drawing, stamping, or rolling processes. Additional operations such as welding, riveting, fastening, and assembly create complete structures or sub-assemblies, followed by deburring, surface treatment, powder coating, and painting.
